No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Using this website does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Hyperbaric-Care.com, its owners, editors, or contributors. We are not your doctors. We don’t know your medical history, current health status, or medications.
FDA-Approved vs. Investigational Uses
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is FDA-cleared for 14 specific medical conditions. Research is ongoing for additional uses. We clearly label which conditions are FDA-approved and which are investigational on every relevant page.
An investigational use is not the same as an approved one. The fact that some clinics offer HBOT for a condition doesn’t mean it’s effective or safe for that condition. Discuss any potential use with your doctor.
Accuracy and Currency of Information
We work to keep content accurate and up to date. However, medical knowledge changes. New studies are published. Guidelines are revised. FDA approvals change.
